For the fifth year in a row GP:50 and Blue Ribbon Corporation participated in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge. This is the 38th year the Challenge has been hosted in Delaware Park and it produced the largest crowd in Buffalo yet – 14,145 runners and walkers from 391 companies!
Our top runner was Christopher Allan with 28:05 and Michael Nebelecky, a close second, with 28:19. With the warm temperature, blue skies, and nice breeze, we couldn’t have asked for better weather for this 3.5 mile run.
Every year, the Corporate Challenge donates to a local nonprofit. This year, the beneficiary was the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, which celebrated 150 years of Olmsted in Buffalo. Funds will go to turf improvements, maintenance, playground surfacing, and the general care of the park.
Employees had a great time cooking out, enjoying music, and networking. It was a great night and we look forward to doing it again next year!
