Supplier Quality Requirements

GP:50

Product produced by GP:50 must perform under a variety of mission critical conditions. Simply stated, “our parts cannot fail”.

To ensure that our customers are successful, GP:50 seeks out suppliers that have developed a culture that is focused on safety and ethical practices without any compromise to quality.

The Quality clauses listed on this page coupled with the technical part descriptions and or technical support documentation enable a clear definition of the requirements necessary for success.

Table 1 identifies the MANDATORY quality requirements that apply to all purchase orders.

Table 2 identifies the PART SPECIFIC quality requirements that will be identified on the applicable purchase order or identified within the technical supporting documentation.

We trust that our suppliers will bring to our attention any discrepancies upon their detection for clarification and prompt resolution.

TABLE 1 – Mandatory Quality Requirements

MQ1CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCECertificate of compliance is required with shipment.
MQ2RIGHT OF ENTRYGP:50 reserves the “Right of Access” to review control methods and inspect material included in the purchase order at the supplier’s facility and sub-tier facility.
MQ3NONCONFORMING MATERIALSupplier shall notify GP:50 of any nonconforming material that results in a departure from the defined requirements.
MQ4FLOW DOWN OF REQUIREMENTSSupplier shall flow all requirements specified on the purchase order to all sub-tier suppliers as applicable.

Q5MATERIAL CERTIFICATIONMaterial certification required with shipment.
Q6DFAR MATERIAL CERTIFICATIONSpecialty metal as defined in DFAR 252.225-7008 shall be melted or produced in the United States or from a qualifying country as defined in DFAR 252.225-7002. Material certification required with shipment.
Q7COUNTERFEIT PARTS PREVENTION
(Completed Assemblies)
Certificate is required with each shipment stating that all parts used were sources from either an OCM (Original Component Manufacturer) or an authorized distributor. Records of such shall be deliverable upon request.
Q8COUNTERFEIT PARTS PREVENTION
(Components)
Certificate is required with each shipment stating the supplier is either the OCM (Original Component Manufacturer) or an authorized distributor for the intended part. Authorized distributors shall state on certificate if they are not an authorized distributor for the part supplied.
Q9QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSupplier’s Quality management System shall conform to a Nationally and/or Internationally recognized system (i.e., AS9100D; ISO9001) as applicable to the type of products and/or services provided unless an alternate quality system level/type has been determined acceptable by GP:50.
Q10PROCESS or MATERIAL CHANGESSupplier shall notify GP:50 of any process or material changes prior to implementation.
Q11DOCUMENT RETENTION10 Year record retention unless otherwise stated on PO.
