Job Position: Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pressure transducers and related instrumentation when needed in either / both the Industrial and Aerospace departments.
This position ensures accurate data collection and performance reliability of pressure sensing equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards

Key Responsibilities

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  1. Install pressure transducer on equipment, test setups, or production systems according to engineering drawings and procedures.
  2. Perform routine and advanced calibrations using precision calibration tools and software.
  3. Troubleshoot transducer failures, wiring issues, and signal inconsistencies and replace or repair faulty components when needed.
  4. Document test results, calibration data, and maintenance activities per company and quality system requirements.
  5. Interface with engineering and quality teams to ensure transducers meet application-specific requirements.
  6. Must be able to work on multiple different product lines.
  7. Follow all ESD, cleanroom, safety and company policies and procedures on a continual basis.
  8. Support root cause analysis for transducer-related failures and assist in corrective action implementation.
  9. Support the traceability of order / costing progression through the logging process using INFOR.
  10. Support Oil fill and Digi Comp calibration process for Industrial sensor models.
  11. Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, or industry-specific standards where applicable.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. High school diploma or GED required (associate’s degree or technical certificate in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field preferred).
  2. 7+ years of hands-on experience working with pressure transducers or instrumentation systems.
  3. Noted proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, and calibration tools.
  4. Understanding of analog/digital signals, 4-20 mA loops, and voltage output devices.
  5. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  6. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
  7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and electronic recordkeeping systems.
  8. Familiarity with cleanroom, ESD, or hazardous location practices is a plus.
  9. Experience with ERP systems such as INFORE preferred.
