Job Position: Digital Technician
Position Summary
The Digital Technician is responsible for assisting the development of digital output
pressure and temperature transducers and transmitters. The Digital Technician takes
direction from engineering and the Digital Supervisor to assist in the development and
implementation of digital protocols. This person takes on responsibilities such as testing
new and existing digital units. The Digital Technician is responsible for calibration.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out testing procedures.
- Collect data and input data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- Read literature including data sheets, manuals, work instructions, and procedures.
- Calibrate units.
- Record data for calibration documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma. AAS Degree a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Computers, including basic computer skills and operation.
- Electronics, including an understanding of basic electronic concepts with a focus on digital electronics.
- An understanding of digital systems and terminology.
- Basic soldering skills including surface mount and hole soldering techniques.
- Electronic assembly
